Two recurring connections appear seconds apart: an observer looks for correlation.
What it protects¶
Padding, delays or cover traffic can limit some inferences depending on their design.
What it does not protect¶
Encryption alone does not hide all these clues.
Why it matters¶
Low-latency onion architecture does not prove global immunity.

The adversary’s multipoint visibility matters more than a “decentralised” label.
